Corporate Cup is a fundraiser for Boston Children's Hospital that promotes fun and friendly competition within the business community through a series of field day events. Teams compete for points in activities that include an obstacle course and 50-yard relay. Companies tell us the fun-filled day boosts teamwork and wellness and makes their people proud to support an amazing cause. The day ends with a party to celebrate and announce the winners!
Teams of 8-20 people from companies big and small are welcome.
Companies pay a sponsorship fee to have a team compete at Corporate Cup. Those funds support lifesaving care for sick kids and their families at Boston Children's. Individual team members are also encouraged to raise money before the event to help even more kids and earn competition points for their team!
If your company already has a team and captain, you can join the team. Interested in starting a team? Please reach out to corporatecup@chtrust.org.
We'll announce details closer to the event, but the day typically starts at 12 pm and ends with an after-party at 4 pm. We kick off with opening ceremonies and then the competition begins! Company teams vie for victory in field-day events, such as a football toss and obstacle course, and points are tallied throughout the day. The team with the most points wins the coveted Kids Cup!
We'll announce the winner and other awards at a closing ceremony, then competitors can relax and mingle over food and drinks at the after-party.
Rain or shine, Corporate Cup is going down. If the weather forecast is too severe, we have a rain date set for Friday, July 12.
The decision to move the event will be made by Tuesday, July 9 at noon, and we’ll notify participants.
We’ll have a designated lactation space for any parents who are participating, courtesy of our friends at Reliable Maternity.
We do advise you to bring your own cooler as refrigeration is not guaranteed.
By public transit, take the Red Line to Harvard Square and the Harvard Athletics Complex is a 10-minute walk from the Square down JFK St. and over the Charles River. The MBTA’s route 66 and route 86 buses also stop in front of Harvard Stadium.
