The Eversource Walk for Boston Children’s Hospital is the one day each year when our entire community—friends, families, sponsors, patients, employees of Boston Children’s—comes together for kids.

Create a team, join a team, join on your own or volunteer. You’ll receive access to an online Fundraising Center with tips, tools and a personal fundraising page to help you reach your goal. Note: there is no onsite registration.

Registration will open in 2025.

Fundraise for Kids

Share your personal fundraising page with family, friends, and co-workers. Let them know you are raising funds to help kids and families at Boston Children’s and ask them to support your efforts with a donation. We’ll have exciting incentives and challenges to boost your fundraising before Walk Day.

Join us on Sunday, June 8 at the DCR Hatch Shell in Boston and enjoy a 2- or 6-mile walk route along the Charles River, family-friendly activities, entertainment, lunch and more.

9:00 – 10:30 am: Rolling start to the walk, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities
10:00 am: Speaking program and message from our CEO
10:30 am: Food Tent opens

Walk Event FAQs

Directions

If you take the “T” (MBTA):

Red Line to Charles MGH station: Take the nearby footbridge across Storrow Drive and continue for a few hundred yards upriver.
Green Line to Arlington station: Proceed up Arlington Street toward the Charles River and cross the Arthur Fiedler Footbridge.

Parking

There is no parking available at the DCR Hatch Shell. The Boston Common Garage is just a short distance from the event. City parking meters are free on Sundays, and there are metered spots available along Cambridge Street, Charles Street and other surrounding streets.

Routes

There are 2- and 6-mile routes. Both routes run along both sides of the Charles River.

Honor Flags

Honor your team, a loved one, doctor, or friend with your donation of $30 or more. Order an honor flag by May 26 and it will be displayed on Walk Day for all to enjoy.
