Wal-Mart and Sam’s Clubs Raise $270,000
Local Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores joined a nationwide campaign to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Money raised through CMN in Massachusetts and New Hampshire supports patient care, research, medical training and community health initiatives at Boston Children's Hospital. Sixty-three Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club locations in the Boston market raised nearly $270,000 for Boston Children's Hospital.

Highland Street Foundation Grants $100K to Boston Children's
Boston Children's Hospital was one of 20 nonprofit organizations to receive a $100,000 grant from the Highland Street Foundation to help address “some of the most pressing needs in our communities during challenging economic times.” The awards were made in conjunction with the Foundation’s 20th Anniversary.

Legal Sea Foods Holiday "Cods" to Benefit Children'
Each holiday season from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day, Legal Sea Foods restaurants nationwide make a donation to pediatric institutions, including Boston Children's Hospital. For every gift card sold, a portion of the proceeds will be contributed to children’s charities. In 2009, Boston Children's Hospital received $65,000 from Legal Sea Foods.
