Amica and Comcast SportsNet form a Winning Team

June 8, 2009 - Boston, MA

On Thursday, May 7, 2009, Amica presented a check for $35,000 to Bosotn Children’s Hospital’s President and COO Sandi Fenwick during an appreciation reception to conclude their season-long Celtics program. Amica President and CEO Robert A. DiMuccio was joined by Amica Senior Assistant Vice Presidents Vincent P. Burks and Craig Phelps, as well as Stephen Burger of Comcast SportsNet.

Throughout the 2008-2009 Celtics season, Amica teamed up with Comcast to donate $35,000 and 70 player-signed basketballs to hospital patients. During their visit to the hospital, Amica continued to spread good cheer by personally presenting signed Celtics game balls to patients.

Now that’s a slam dunk!
