Gifts of private support came from more than 60,000 individuals, associations, corporations and foundations, with gifts from individuals forming the cornerstone of support to Boston Children’s Hospital.

Careful financial stewardship

At Boston Children’s Hospital we take extraordinary care to steward our financial resources wisely. Our average cost per dollar raised between 2008 and 2012 is 18.9%. Moody’s Investor’s Service gives us a bond rating of Aa2, one of only five pediatric hospitals to receive this high level of accreditation for excellent fiscal performance.
